Maternity + newborn sessions are so fun! It’s exciting being with a family right before and after they have a baby.
Working with this family and seeing the love and happiness they have for one another was truly beautiful.
Making the decision to have a child is momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body.
Mom and dad smiled and laughed through our entire session, which make it fun for the kids and me!
This family is so warm and welcoming, and comfortable with one another and in their own skin.
Jillian and Garri are expecting their first baby any day now. I really do mean any day. They have decided to wait to find out the sex of the baby and also have secret names picked out. I really hope they have patient family members. When I was pregnant with my first, my husband and I decided not to find out the sex, I really thought that my sister’s head… Keep Reading
I met the Harris family at their gorgeous row house in Old Town. They had just moved in which is already hard work but with 6 month old triplets (TRIPLETS!) An awesome… Keep Reading
Amber is one of my longest friends. We met on her first day of school in the fourth grade. Over the past 20-something years we have had more sleepovers, laughs, tears and softball tournaments than I can count. Amber and I did soooo many things together that probably weren’t a great idea. Luckily, we can out the other side with minimal wear and tear. (An act of God, for sure!)… Keep Reading
DC people, If you haven’t been out to Frying Pan Park yet….GO! It is a great trip for families. We had a great time “picking rocks” to help the farmers get ready for wheat planting, petting the farm animals and riding the tractor. Best of all, it is all FREE! (We came on “Back to School” day so the tractor rides were free today but usually they are a couple… Keep Reading
I had the pleasure of working with the Wiggins family a few weeks ago. This family has a pretty cool life. Dad, Ian is a British Foreign Service Officer and so the family gets to do some serious traveling. Awesome/jealous! I had such a nice time working with them. Meet the Wiggins.
